This is the view I will have in about a week.

The thing that is shocking me tonight is the way that I have needed the solace of this landscape to help me will the news of so many contradictions and losses for America with the current governing structure.  I started painting in the spring sunshine and this encaustic painting came to me.  It helps to carry it with me as I see America from afar.  I hope to be a good ambassador for our true values while in Great Britain.
